Pairing Your Device
If you tapped the “Activate Device” button and nothing happened (the “Ready to Scan” popup did not appear), make sure your iPhone is running the latest version of iOS and you are running the latest version of the Lasso Alarm Clock app. If both are up to date, simply give your iPhone a reset. This is a common bug for apps using the NFC scanner.
If you successfully scanned your device (you saw a blue checkmark inside of the “Ready to Scan” popup) but received an error message, try scanning again. Sometimes it can take a few tries but once you’re paired, you won’t have to do this again.
If you continue to receive error messages, send us an email using the “Contact Us” button below the error message. This email will include your Device ID, which will help us resolve the issue sooner.
Alarms
If your alarm failed to go off, try deleting it along with any existing alarms and then create a new one. Wait until right before bed to set and/or toggle your alarm on or, if your alarm is already set, open the app and toggle it off and back on right before bed. This gives the app a fresh session and ensures it stays running in the background overnight.
We anticipate being able to provide better alarm reliability with the upcoming release of iOS 26.
If you’re using “Sleep Mode” on your iPhone, you must manually give Lasso permission to deliver notifications while your phone is in sleep mode.
To do this, open your iPhone’s “Settings.” Scroll down and tap “Focus,” then “Sleep,” then “Apps,” then “Add Apps” and add Lasso. If you use any other focus mode, like “Do Not Disturb,” add Lasso to those as well.
Phone Compatibility
To use the Lasso Alarm Clock app, you must have an iPhone running iOS 17 or later. iOS 17 is available on iPhone XR (2018) and all newer models.

The Lasso Alarm Clock app is not available for smartwatches or tablets, as they do not have the ability to scan the Lasso device.
Orders & Shipping
We ship to US customers via USPS. Orders ship from Ohio and go out daily, except on Sundays and holidays when the post office is closed. You can compare shipping options in checkout, including price and delivery speed, or learn more here.
We're currently offering international shipping to Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. We plan to expand to other countries as we work out any kinks with international shipping.
Orders are shipped from the United States via DHL, and may be handed off to another carrier once they arrive in your country.
In most cases, import duties are paid at checkout, so there are no additional fees at the time of delivery. Enter your address in checkout to see exact shipping costs and estimated delivery times.
You should receive an email on the day that your order is shipped out and on the day that it will be delivered.

If you are a US customer, order tracking will be provided via USPS.
If you are an international customer, order tracking will be provided by DHL.
Returns & Refunds
If you’re not satisfied with your Lasso Alarm Clock, for any reason, you can return it for a full refund up to 30 days after the date of delivery. Be sure to read our full returns policy here.

If your device arrived defective or damaged, email us and we will send you a replacement as soon as possible.
If it became damaged or defective through use, email us anyway and we'll see what we can do!
