Nope! At least, it's not easy to. We are building the app in a way that makes it difficult to silence the alarm without walking to the device.
Most other alarms can be shut off from bed. Even if you set your phone or your alarm clock across the room, if you're anything like us, you crawl right back into bed after you snooze it or turn it off.
Lasso not only gets you out of bed, but gets you away from your bed. By making you walk to your device, your body is pulled out of what scientists call "sleep inertia," and you are much less likely to crawl back into bed.
We're also total design snobs. We're putting our blood, sweat and tears into creating a product that isn't just effective, but is better designed and more enjoyable to use than other alarm clock apps.
Lasso has an optional, one-time snooze button, which you can enable or disable in the settings. You can also program the snooze duration anywhere from one to nine minutes.
If you use it, this gives you just enough time to walk to your device in silence, without waking everyone else in the house up. But you only get one, so it isn't going to let you fall back asleep.
You don't! The device uses RFID technology, the same kind of thing that powers the chip in your credit card.
That means there's no battery to recharge or replace and it pretty much lasts forever. About a decade to be exact.
You don't even have to worry about it staying connected to your phone or staying in range, like you would with a Bluetooth device.
Nope! By purchasing the device, you get lifetime access to the app for a single user. When we roll out multiple users, extra household members will have to pay a one-time amount to pair to your device. But there are no subscriptions or other recurring fees.
